MW CTR-IN

Site Migration to Pantheon

Client page for the MW CTR-IN Site Migration to Pantheon

Fall 2018

In an effort to make the design process transparent and accessible to all client stakeholders, this project page contains project-related links for the 2018 MW CTR-IN site migration. In the fall of 2018, Chris Gargiulo was hired to collaborate with UNLV IT specialists to migrate the current MW CTR-IN Wordpress web site to a new, private third-party hosting provider (Pantheon).

Site migration is a one-time service that includes pre- and post- migration tests of the new host system and services to ensure software compatibility and compliance with the new hosts’ policies, recommended best practices, and plugins, including their custom migration tool, security settings, and backup procedures. It also includes a pre-migration site audit of the current MW CTR-IN site to include a checklist of features and functionality for post-migration quality assurance testing, along with a pre-migration content clean up, code refactoring, and a site performance analysis. During migration, services include technical support to address any migration conflicts and errors during the migration process. Post-migration services include site testing and quality assurance along with a post-migration site test and audit to ensure that all features and functionality are fully restored and functioning properly. Thank you.
